In a thrilling display of sportsmanship and agility, the annual Seniors vs Staff basketball game concluded with the staff team claiming victory over the seniors. The gymnasium was alive with the cheers and excitement of spectators as the two teams battled it out on the court.

The seniors displayed incredible skill and determination, putting up a fierce fight throughout the game. However, the staff team’s experience and teamwork ultimately led them to a well-deserved win.

The seniors, although disappointed with the loss, played with heart and skill. Senior CJ Carter commented, “We played hard and had a blast. I wish we could have gotten the win, but the tables didn’t fall in our corner.”

The game went back and forth until the staff pulled ahead in the final minutes of the fourth quarter, leaving a comeback impossible for the seniors. The staff team included Mr. Kevin Copley, Mr. Jason Toton, Mr. Sean Cogolludo, Mr. Nick Lange, and Mr. Adam Coles and were coached by Mrs. Brie Allis.  Dyke was the staff’s secret weapon as his height proved to be a challenge for the seniors.

The highly anticipated game has become a cherished tradition, bringing together students and staff in a spirited competition. The staff and the next batch of rising seniors are already looking forward to the next matchup, eager to claim the victory.
