Sophie Mason is a senior and Online Editor who is entering her second year on the Outlander staff. A fellow staff writer recommended she take the class, and Sophie appreciated the opportunity to improve on her writing mechanics and expand her writing portfolio. She loves to write about local history and historical events while making connections to modern news and events. Sophie is the Events Manager of Student Council, President of Belle-Tones, and also participates in Tri-M, National Honor Society, and Quill and Scroll. She loves to read, write, sing, hike, and spend time outdoors. In college, Sophie plans to major in elementary education or music education.
