Xander Bush is a Staff Writer in his junior year who has been involved with journalism since the beginning of his high school career. He chose to work for the Outlander to expand his creative outlet and supplement his photography skills. Xander’s favorite topics to write about are sports and people. He enjoys the research process that goes into writing articles and understanding the way humans think and feel. He plays volleyball for various clubs in the Virginia area and recently began taking photos for LoCo sports. Xander’s main interests are photography, cybersecurity—which he has been learning since he was 6—and finding ways to express his thoughts. After graduating, he plans to visit South Korea to meet his relatives and learn more about his culture.
