Woodgrove’s men’s basketball team has started off on fire this year with a 16-3 record. Their biggest winning streak is ten straight games for this year. With that great record the players and coaches are still dialed in on going bigger.

“Don’t get satisfied with where we are right now. Our coach says ‘Keep it behind us and keep moving forward.’ I feel if we keep a good mindset we can keep pushing forward and do something big this year,” senior Corey Suddeth explained on what the team’s factors are to winning games.

These components have been huge on the success of the team being at the top of the district this year. Mindsets, however, are also a great thing to have going into a season.

“This season our mindset and focus is to win the district championship. Right now we lead the district and so we are getting closer each game to accomplish that goal. What is helping us with that is our teamwork and chemistry has gotten a lot better compared to last year,” senior Jack Hill said.

The Woodgrove Wolverines are on a journey to win it all. This winning streak and phenomenal start to this season is just the beginning to even more success in the near future.
