On December 13th 2022 in the Dulles Eastern Plaza, there was a grand opening of the most anticipated place, Raising Cane’s. Raising Cane’s is a fast food restaurant founded in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and is known for its chicken and their special Cane Sauce. Residents from all over Loudoun have been eager to try the new restaurant.

My experience at Raising Cane’s started with a line that was an hour long, but it was definitely worth the wait. I ordered the box combo which contains four chicken fingers, crinkle cut fries, one Cane Sauce, Texas toast, coleslaw, and a twenty two oz fountain drink. The chicken fingers were crispy on the outside, with the perfect crunch and a soft, juicy center. Also, the crinkle cut fries had the right amount of salt with an ideal french-fry texture. The best part of all the food was the Cane Sauce that tastes like an angry Cajun dancing on your tongue. I recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for a great fried chicken place and a new popping sauce.
